How to Grant Your Web Designer Access (GoDaddy, Hostinger, Network Solutions, Wix)

When working with a web designer or developer, you’ll likely be asked to provide access to your domain, hosting, or website platform.

This guide walks you through how to do that across the most common platforms.

GoDaddy (Recommended: Delegated Access)

Steps:

1. Log in to GoDaddy
2. Click your profile → My Products
3. Scroll to Delegate Access
4. Click Grant Access
5. Enter your designer’s name + email
6. Select Products & Domains
7. Send invite

This is the best and most secure option

Hostinger (Team Access)

Steps:

1. Log in to Hostinger
2. Go to Manage Access / Account Sharing
3. Click Add User
4. Enter email
5. Assign permissions (Hosting + Domains)
6. Send invite

If unavailable on your plan, temporary login sharing may be required.

Network Solutions (No Delegated Access)

Network Solutions does not support delegated access.

Options:

👉 Option 1 (Recommended):

• Share login credentials temporarily
• Update password after work is complete

👉 Option 2:

• Provide DNS + hosting logins separately

Wix (Collaborator Access)

Steps:

1. Log in to Wix
2. Go to Settings → Roles & Permissions
3. Click Invite People

You stay the owner—this just allows your designer to help
